Excellent food!. This place is amazing….something you would never expect to find in this area. The interior is chic, and comfortable. Service is good. Prices (during Happy Hour) are excellent. Good value. If you want burgers and fries and the same old, same old, then by all means join the throngs at Tavern Grill or Wild Bills. If you want something unique and good, join the few who know at Hajime.

Great miso soup and salad. Quick service and fresh, GREAT sushi. My husband and I were Impressed, as it was our first time, and we are never sure about sushi in the burbs. But this one exceeded expectations.

Their happy hour menu is probably the best value in the twin cities. So glad this place opened up

Want sushi in north burbs? This place exceeds all sushi standards! Attentive, excellent suggestions, and fresh fish makes for a great night for anyone who doesn’t need to be seen to have a good time.

Jenny Shane… User below. Complete Idiot. Best place I’ve seen come out of Blaine in a while. Although it is kinda small (compared to wild bills and the tavern), there is a lot a little place like this packs. They had an excellent modern design (very very classy). Something you would expect out of our twin cities but it’s close to home (your north suburban area). There weren’t many people because it is like a hidden jewel. A diamond in the rough. The food and service was just as great as the design of the restaurant. If you dont like sushi, dont go here. (obviously) Go to Bills or the tavern, but if you want to try something cool come here. They have pretty good specials for happy hour. I hope our small businesses such as this one becomes successful because looking at blaine, lots of small businesses and restaurants don’t do well. The locals know. Keep this jewel going. Oh and jenny…. learn some taste. haha . . .(serious face)

I was there last night for dinner service, the atmosphere there is absolutely fantastic, the prices are comparable for the size of the dishes that you receive. The seafood is extremely fresh, definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants to come to the Twin Cities yet..

Awesome sushi place!!! We love it. My husband and I go here about once a week, and have never had a bad experience. The service has always been promt and friendly, and the sushi is great!! The only thing I would say is that their happy hour prices are still a bit high, but I love that they stay open all day, and I can now get happy hour for pick-up! I hope they stay busy enough to stay in business, because it is great to have a good sushi place so close!
