While the building is in need of some paint and maybe a nail or two, the pasta was very good–and that is something sorely needed in the northern suburbs. Our favorites started with the bread side order. Crunchy crust chewy center delicious smoky flavor from the pizza ovens it was fabulous!Next we loved the manicotti and the ravioli. We also tried the spaghetti and meatballs and the baked penne pasta. Those were okay but seemed not as flavorful as the first two dishes, the spaghetti being too soft. Also sampled was the Chicken Fillet sandwich that my daughter said she enjoyed. We will definitely be back to sample the pizza next time which we hear is very good!
Average hole in the wall. I have always driven by this place and not paid much attention but decided to give it a try the other day with my husband. My meal of grilled cheese and onion rings was very good but my husband was very disappointed in his pasta alfredo dish saying it was bland. The bread was very greasy. The service was good and friendly. While the atmosphere is quaint, you really have to wonder how hard it is to clean. The walls were splattered with grease and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings. The exposed insulation around the air conditioner is an added touch. This is a fun place to try, but we certainly won’t be regulars.

A good find. This place always seems empty, no matter what time of day, which is really surprising to me. Their pizza is quite good (cheesy, a good amount of toppings, good crust) and their other dishes seem like they’re up to par.
If you want a cheeseburger or fettucini Alfredo, Jimbo’s will most likely have your order even if it is not on the menu, this place has got to be the greatest little hole in the wall restaraunt in the area. The food is spectacular and the service is better than the food, if you haven’t visited, what are you waiting for?
