Server was friendly and helpful. Prices decent. The Rosemary Steak Wrap was great. French Dip tender and tasty. In general the food seems good here – Build Your Own Salad/Burger/Pizza/BloodyMary is interesting. Quite noisy, even though the dining room was less than half full – a real echo chamber.

I eat here regularly–3-4 times per month. As with any place, there are things on the menu that work well and things that you wont like. There are many things to love here (Bruschetta, Steak Wrap, Burgers, White Bean Chili, Spicy Cheese Sauce!) and things I dont (Pizzas, Fiocchi Limoncello, Ribs, Baked Spaghetti, Calamari). My only wish here is that their menu had a portion that rotated so there would be new offerings each week/month etc. My family and I have tried most everything here and would like to try new things here to stop in more frequently. Its one of our favorite places in the northern suburbs.Iced tea rating 3/5

Good Enough. It was a beautiful late-spring afternoon, but the hostess didn’t invite us to sit on the welcoming patio, and my table-mate didn’t think to ask. So we sat in a booth next to a group of eight adults and eight small children, who were next to a similar group. The noise inside was even more distracting than the food flying around near those tables. Well, we make allowances for little children, and put that sort of thing to one side. The service was very good, attentive but not overbearing, and when the waitress dropped off a refill of my drink just as I was about to try to catch her attention, I decided to add half a chili pepper to the service rating. We neither of us indulged in the house’s gimmick of building our own pizza, burger, sandwich or bloody Mary, but ordered off the menu. The food was plentiful — I ended up leaving quite a bit on the plate — and the waffle fries were actually impressive in their quality. The Cuban sandwich was less so: the ham used in it (prosciutto, according to the menu) tasted more like corned beef, which was an unpleasant surprise. My friend’s reuben sandwich was very good (his corned beef being nothing like prosciutto). Some Good, Some Bad. The good: the bartenders are great, happy hour is the best in the north metro, food is better than average. The bad: noise in the dining area is overwhelming (need sound deadening, stay in the bar area if you want to talk), no lunch specials (really???)

Build your own bloody Mary’s were good. Standard items; no surprises. Club sandwich was large and tasty with the aioli. Oven roasted chicken wings were under cooked. Manager acknowledged (very nice) and wiped off the bill. First time not great but due to manager’s service and interesting menu options, we plan to try it again.

Food has gone downhill from last year. Very spendy & poor quality food. No longer eating here26 May, 2012Call ahead and be patient. Well worth the wait. Food was wonderful: naked filet, meatloaf, rosemary filet, build your own chicken burger, kid pizzas! Fabulous with special instructions and everything prepared well. Great server and ambience!

Just not that into it. I know people that love this place, but I am not one of them. I have been there a few times because my family loves it. The first time I got the walleye sandwich and my bun was so soggy I had to ask for another one. The second time I did the build your own pizza and my cheese pizza was mostly huge chunks of tomatoes, little cheese. The third time and I swear last time, I ordered fish and chips and the fish was so dry, I mean, how do you make dry fish/breading? Also this last time someone at our table didn’t get their fish tacos until the rest of us were done eating. This is a nice place, good atmosphere, decent service, but I just can’t like the food. Way overrated if you ask me.
