Another Home Run!. The Living Social menu at Chez Daniel provides a 3 course Chef’s tasting menu with wine. Each course offered several enticing options. In addition to the delicious food, Chez Daniel has marvelous, quiet, romantic ambience with multiple intimate dining areas. Very elegant extras such as the palate cleansing raspberry sorbet and the chocolate dipped strawberries add to a beautiful dining experience. We’ve dined here four times within the past year and Chez Daniel hit it out of the ballpark every time.
Loved it!. My mother and I had a lovely dinner here. The manager was a gem walking us through the entire menu and meal. The food was fabulous, I had the lamb and couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you.
Boring & Bland. We looked forward to this for a nice night out between the Wife and I. Made reservations and they acted like they had been busy. The place was empty, literally. We double the population when we walked in. The food was overpriced and was no better then going to a neighborhood restaurant (fill in your favorite)except this place had no ambience. The staff was rude. I’m guessing because they are working on a saturday night at a restaurant that is dead! Not going back.
Great anniversary dinner. We had a later reservation but our server was still very attentive and accomodating. Pete was friendly, made great recommendations and was one of the better servers we’ve had in a very long time. The chef prepared a special vegetarian dish for me and I was blown away by the quality of food and the taste was phenomenal. My husband ordered seabass and was just as impressed. The restaurant ambiance is elegant, but not stuffy and we cannot wait to return.
We went to this restaurant for friend’s birthday, waitress was rude and barely show up at our table, food was lame and tasteless. Nothing French about this restaurant at all, only reason this restaurant still exists is because it exists in a hotel and rip guests off with high price and terrible food.
Seated right away only 1 server and 1 busser. Drink order taken right away and dinner order shortly there after. Waited a long time for a cup of French onion soup that was quite salty. Waited again for mini beef Wellington that tasted old and possibly frozen. Had asparagus with prosciutto, poached egg, sherry vinegar, truffles, micro greens. Excellent! Egg done just right and prosciutto wrapped asparagus just crisp enough. Grilled peaches, marscapone, raspberry and black cherry ice cream. Another hit. Overall, food 50/50 split, service was good, kitchen seemed to have issues getting food out efficiently.
Good food, bad service. The food was good. The service was not. That’s about the same experience that it seems many other people have had there. We live five minutes away from there and called and made a reservation for fifteen minutes from then. We arrived on time and they sat someone ahead of us that had a reservation for 15 minutes later than us and we had to sit in the bar for nearly 20 minutes to get a table, which had three other empty tables around it. Why had it taken so long to seat us? Everything else seemed to continue to take forever to happen as well. The food was good, unfortunately because of the service we will not be going back.
