Its a place with full mexican theme and we ordered chicken wings, quesadillas ranchira, taco and lemonade. Food was good in taste. Must visit!!!
It was terrible! The chicken was dry the ground beef tasted like chef boy or dee ravioli. The chalupa shell tasted like it was a week old. The refrained beans were runny. Nothing had any flavor. Taco Bell actually tastes better and costs nothing.
Excellent, AUTHENTIC, Good Mexican Food. My first visit, which is the showstopper for most restaurants, was absolutely excellent. I went at lunch, ordered a veg item from the menu, and the owner came to chat with me in Spanish. That went very far with me. The food was EXCELLENT, the service good and they had my favourite Mexican beer.My colleague from my office was so thrilled with the meal portion and flavour that he saved half his meal to eat for dinner.If you like AUTHENTIC, delicious Mexican food, NOT TexMex or rubbish imitations, this is a great place to visit.
Five Plus Plus Plus Stars!. First visit this past weekend was beyond perfection…food…drinks…staff…and welcoming ambience made the evening so special and fun! I can’t wait to bring family, friends and everyone else to enjoy this gem…can’t wait to bring myself back!
Slow Service/Mediocre Cheap Cruise Food. Service was friendly…but slow. Margaritas good and strong but not strong enough to make me suffer through the food. It’s hard to say a Mexican restaurant had nothing good. (Sometimes the chips/queso can save it.) But there was nothing good about the food here. Don’t go!!
Nice place, good food & very attentive staff. We have enjoyed El Loro’s since they came to Bloomington. Good value, nice menu selection and good service. Fajitas for two is a favorite!
One of the best El Loros around. I love Mexican….I go to El Loro, El Azteca and Theresa depending on where I am at in the cities…and this is one of best ones in those chains. Our office is 4 blocks away from this little hidden Gem. It is in front od the cub on Lyndale but sort of hidden by the Gas Station. We go there for work/lunch meetings often and my employees always request that is where I take them on their birthdays to celebrate. For those of you that think it is bland order the chori Pollo (they even have it as a lunch portion – which none of the others do) It is cheesy spicy sausage and chicken goodness! Love it. The service is really good and food comes out fast which is really important at lunch. Salsa tastes very fresh. I just wish I had time to come here at night and try out the happy hour and the bar which is big and inviting…. I did sneak a small margarita at lunch one day,,, pretty darn good and I am little picky on my margarita being too sweet or fake tasting.
