I find myself back at Grand Szechuan and it’s just as delicious as last time. I ordered five dishes and they were all remarkable. The Dan Dan noodles and Sweet and Spicy noodles were the first to arrive. At just $5 each, these are quite a tasty bargain. The noodle in the Dan Dan dish is a thicker lo mein style noodle. Dan Dan is served warm and has a mild smoky peanut sauce taste. The Sweet and Spicy noodles are a thinner style lo mein noodle. Despite its name, they really aren’t all that Spicy. It has a stronger peanut sauce taste than the Dan Dan noodles, but without the slight hint of smoke. I also ordered the Spicy Dumplings. At $6, these were still a bargain. This was my least favorite dish, but only because the others were so amazing. I also had pork ears in Spicy sauce and pork stomach in Spicy sauce. I order one or both of these each time I come in. Both were just as amazing as the last time I reviewed them. I was here during the lunch hour on a Friday and the place was pretty packed until about 1:30pm. It gets loud in the restaurant when it’s busy. The service isn’t great but it’s not terrible either. The decor has not changed since my last review of the place. All they said, I’ll be back!!
