QUICK REVIEWService I have been to Gyropolis several times over the years. Each time I go it is busy, it has not mattered if I was there during lunch rush or not, always busy. That, however, does not take away from the experience, the employees are always friendly and efficient in their jobs. Atmosphere – Your basic fast food, order at the counter, pay at the counter and find a spot to sit restaurant. This used to be a Winchells donut location for many years so it was not set up to be a full sit down restaurant. Presentation – The gyros are prepared and wrapped in tinfoil style wrapping. This keeps the gyros warm and allows you to eat them on the go a little easier. If you do eat in you also get a red basket to carry your food in. Again, this is pure and simple a fast food spot.Value The service is speedy and friendly, the atmosphere is okay, the presentation is good but what really makes this place and the whole reason to go is the food. The food is well prepared, well-proportioned and very tasty. To me these are the best Gyros in this area of the Twin Cities, there are other options but none match the quality of Gyropolis. Location Middle of Bloomington off of Penn Ave and 90th, across from the high school football stadium. Pretty non-descript area overall and this is what makes the fact that this place is always so busy impressive. The only reason to head to this area is GYROPOLIS. In honor of the Gyros I will be using a 5 Gyro rating system, 1 Gyro is not good and 5 Gyros are great.I give Gryopolis 4 Gyros. Check it out for sure, the spicy Gyro is my go-to option.

Food not worth the money we paid.. Let me get to the point if you order something the portions is not what it used to be and if you ask to have extra put on they well charge you outrageous amount to do so and then copped an attitude the owner and the old lady really need to move away not happy with the service and will not have my family or anybody I know go back there.10 Apr, 2015Rude disrespectful service.. The only thing that is good about gyropolis is the food. But other than that, the experience is always uncomfortable. The owners are incredibly cheap and rude. My boyfriend and I never feel welcomed when we go there, they make us feel as if we are inconveniencing them by walking in their restaurant. The old woman is the worst, she yells at you if you try and add anything different to the gyros, and tries to shame you for ordering your food the way you want it. They nickel and dime you for every extra scrap of food they put on your order. $1.25 for a couple extra pieces of meat?! The owners of gyropolis should be more focused on the overall satisfaction of the customer.
