  Enjoy, but keep the secret. I hesitate to rave about the deliciousness of Mortys food masterpieces, because once the secret gets out, I run the risk of overcrowding my favorite lunch room. Mortys is hidden away in the Highland Ski Chalet in Bloomington. (Do not judge the food by the appearance of the Chalet which is well overdue for a makeover.) The food at Mortys is FANTASTIC. I have not had one thing at Mortys that I havent liked. The blend of flavors and ingredients is genius. Mortys menu features sandwiches, burgers and salads. The portions are huge, so if you are a light eater, get a to-go box right away. Every week 3 specials are offered along with the regular menu of burger, pub foods, wraps and salads (wraps & salads are available in the grab & go cooler). Most of the menu items come with a side of fries, pasta salad or side salad. My favorite Specials are The Cuban and the Fish Tacos. The Cuban: smoked pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickle, jalapeo aioli on a hoagie bun. Fish Tacos: delicately breaded fish fillets, slaw, mango salsa, jalapeos and aioli tucked into 2 flour tortillas. Not to miss from the regular menu is any of the burgers, the Fish & Chips, the Hyland BLTC (a Must if you love bacon) and the Chicken Quesadilla. To make this a truly honest review, however, I must admit an imperfection I have found in Mortys menu. That is that the pasta salads are only offered as a side. I would love to see the pasta salad offered as an entre’ choice. As with the specials, the pasta salad changes each week and it is always tough for me to choose between fries or pasta salad. Try Mortys you wont be disappointed.
