Slowest service I’ve had in a long time with average food at best. An hour and a half for lunch without having a server come see you for 15 minutes at a time. We will not be back.
Obviously, you go here to satisfy kids. While I thought my food was good, $24.50 for 16 shrimp (albeit cooked 3 ways), w/one side is beyond excessive. Hubby got same entree but didn’t like it as well as I did. We had a beer & strawberry daiquiri, kids both had the icee drink in the special cup, which was fun. Kids meals were both the chicken/shrimp bites – one w/banana, one w/fries. Tab was $102 BEFORE tip. Service was good. Still, avoid if you can withstand the whining. If not, kids are pretty well guaranteed to have a good time at least.
I’m from Louisiana and had to try this place. The atmosphere is great for kids. I agree with the comments that the prices are high. The food is good but portions are small. An out of towner should try this place but BEWARE OF THE PRICES.
Place for the kids. At the insistance of my daughter, we eat here on our yearly trek to Mall of America. The food is overpriced and just not good – and I’m NOT a picky eater! About the only thing I’ve managed to find that I like okay, is the chicken quesidilla – the seafood sucks. The volcano dessert is delicous though. You really pay for the atmosphere to please the kids – those w/o kids I don’t think would get anything out of this restaurant. Kind’ve like a Chucky Cheese in that their pizza sucks & is overpriced, but you don’t go there for the food!
You go for the Novelty of the place, not the food.Out of town guests who have the Need to Experience the Greed & Excess of the Mall of America, see this place, children & adults alike,& just have to satisfy their curiousity here.Unfortunely, curiousity may be satisfied, but rarely their taste buds.Dissapointing as Prom Night Food, maybe worse.2 out of 5 Tiara’s
Overpriced & Mediocre. Not worth it. My four year was excited about it, but once we sat down it wasn’t very special. The food was expensive. I don’t mind paying for good food, but this was just standard, overpriced food.
