Wow, not the place I remember. After several years, I returned for the blue plate. Hot roast beef, mashed w/gravy served cold wasn’t what I expected. Then, after we returned them for a warm replacement we got cold plates again. Afterwards, Jeff the owner chases us down in the parking lot to argue about it. Honestly, too salty, too cold, too argumentative owner…not the nice place I remember. We would have been happier at Arby’s.

Once you find Wally’s (it’s in a rust colored office building) you will be rewarded by a 50’s era diner-esque restaurant serving old-school roast beef sandwiches, hot beef commercials, burgers, and malts/shakes. Their home made roast beef–tender, with just enough garlic — is delicious and moist. My family did feel the hamburger buns used on the sandwiches were a bit gummy though. Gravy was great and the mashed potatoes adequate.Kernel corn was bland and throw-away.Potato cakes–triangle shaped hashbrowns were a guilty pleasure for sure and I ate every bit I could steal from my wife’s plate! My wife wanted me to mske special mention that she LOVED the horse radish. It had full-on sinus-cleaning power; Something rare to find in a prepared horseradish sauce. We topped it off with a luscious chocolate shake that was thick with plenty of chocolate and whipped cream. A good place for hone-style comfort food lunch, fast.
