The skillet is good for breakfast and super. I tried fish fry and soup, and i think the taste was best from other places in Brainerd. I saw many other options too but as fish fry is my favorite I had this only. Also in place like Brainerd you can this place is best for eating.
I’m not native to Brainerd or MN, so I find the food options severely limited in this area. The skillet is classic mom and pop MN diner with average food and great service. Would rate lower in the cities, but not a terrible option in Brainerd. Breakfast is best option here. All you can eat fish fry of Fridays and ribs on Saturdays also a good time.
If you have not made your way to the skillet. Get there. Great service, your coffee cup is never half empty and you get your food fast. Great price as well. Best breakfast in the Brainerd/Baxter area.
