I have been here many times and I don’t remember a bad experience with service or food. Made from scratch goodness! My mom buys pies from the 50’s grill regularly and if you have enough of their pie tins to trade back you get a free pie!
Malts. Real malts…so awesome. And if all you want is a malt they have tables saved for you
Special Events. We are in the second generation of ‘special events’ celebrated at the 50’s Grill. It has always been a great place for Birthday’s, after Recital, meeting place and much more. I love the salads like no other place, the veggie burgers are great, as well as the malts and cakes. The family likes all the homestyle food; chicken pot pie, meatloaf, burgers. Always time to go to the 50’s Grill. Even the soup is great. Thanks to all staff for years of great food and help. from, The Carpenter family
I was very excited about the advertised famous chicken pot pie. At the price I expected better. Although not bad but, by far not the best I have had. It was served in a standard bowl with a very thin crust (only on the top). A creamy base that was lacking in seasoning and overall flavor. With that said the addition of the pearl onions was a very nice touch. Service was amazing but for the entree you would be better off at that price picking one up from Costco… now theirs is AMAZING!
This place is great. I are there on a Friday night and they were busy as heck. The food was awesome. The waitress was so helpful and as cute as a button!!! I believe her name was Brooke. She was very helpful.
Its like eating at home , menu has many choices . I Had the Turkey dinner and boyfriend got a Bison burger. Both were good , also came with side salad , which was a bit Blah , just iceberg letuce and a few radish slices. Also got a piece of. Home made rhubarb pie which was awesomely great. Also this was a Thursday Night and it was packed. So if you want to try a old fashion home made style restaurant check this place out.
– Simply Homemade Delicious -. I like the Meatloaf, or a simple Hamburger. My wife likes the Chicken Pot Pie, and we both get Blueberry Pie for dessert.===Their bread has a great local reputation, is not found on the menu, but is served with dinners. It is fresh and chewy and crusty and delicious. I can’t tell if it’s French or Italian. But, I bring home some every time we eat here. It is just great for steak sandwiches. ===Great service, good prices, easy parking, comfortable noise level, clean rest rooms. The ambiance is great, last time I was there I think I saw Elvis===Some of the booths are not spaced well and can be uncomfortable to sit in.
