Interesting place. Billed as a Smokehouse but I am not sure they actually traditionally smoke their stuff. Oven roasted? Semi-grilled?Ribs were tender with good tooth but had no smoke ring and were grey inside like baked. Pulled chicken similartender but not pink like when smoked. The Coop sandwich was good, but its pretty much sauce you taste mixed with the slaw and onion.Ribs were irritating as they were served with the tips (sternum) still attached to the slab so you could not cut off a individual rib. Very messy to eat that way as they were slathered with sticky, dark brown smoky sauce and you had to try to twist them off. Mac & Cheese was fresh, cheesey with a light cheese sauce and lots of black pepper. Fried Pickles were in a beer-style batter. Crispy, large, but not memorable. Lots of sandwich selections to pick from including a NY Pastrami and a fried Catfish. Chicken wings and nuggets too.
