Aaron is an awesome waiter.
Great place for brunch, price is right and the food is outstanding! The only issue I had was the 18% grat. They added to the bill, I understand the reasoning but I tip more than that when the service is good, which it was!
Tastiest Spicy Wings I Have Had.. I originally went there for the the Ghost Wing Challenge. I took my youngest brother to join with the challenge. We both ordered a little just to have something else in the stomach. My burger was OK. He seemed to like the steak special. Then the wings came out along with the executive chef you created them. They were so good and so spicy (I have had hotter). My brother couldn’t take the heat but agreed on how tasty they were. I went back again with my mother loved the flavor but could not get the 10th wing down. I will go back for the wings and wear my winning t-shrt.
In response to the ridiculous post below, I have to say that this reviewer is clearly not interested in hot foods or wings. As a connoisseur of both I have to tell you that Girvan’s Ghost Wings are not only the best hot wings (for heat) but also the best hot wings for flavor.Just because someone is not able to handle the heat of the Ghost Pepper does not mean that they are not worth eating. Shame on anyone who does not understand this.
Okay food. I had the WBLT (walleye BLT), which was just okay. The walleye did not taste fresh and had qualities of fish sticks. My wife had the Smoke and Spice burger which was also just okay. The house made potato chips were borderline terrible. A little salt would have gone a long way. There are a number of items on the menu that look good, so I may give it another try. One thing I do not recommend is taking the Ghost Wing Challenge. The first bite was tasty but that quickly changed to the most unbearable heat I have ever eaten.
Good food great prices. This place has daily specials that are ever changing. Everytime we go to pasta night they have 3-5 different pastas to choose from. 2 people can eat a gourmet meal for under $25.00 and the food is delicious.
