Very good pho nice to have several size bowls to choose. Love the lotus root salad. The tv is unnecessary & detriment to a pleasant dining axperience. Reasonable prices.
Durian and More. There are only two places in the Twin Cities that I trust to make a Durian Smoothie – one of them is Kim Anh. I prefer to stick with their Vietnamese side of the menu. Whether its piping hot Pho or a cold cut sandwich to go – I always end up wanting to go back for more.
Great pho and entrees but service just kinda sucks. Waiter never came back to give refills on our water and bill never comes. We just end up going to the front to pay rather than wait.
Love this place! Great food for little money. We usually call in our order and get it to go so can’t speak to service other than they have always been friendly and order has always been right.
They have poor customer service. We had to wait for 45 min for 8 sandwhich. Instead of making our order they were making other orders in between & then they gave 2 of the sandwhich already madw from our order to a friend. Never going back there.
Great Food. I had their fresh Spring Rolls and the Lotus Root Salad with Shrimp and Pork and both items were excellent. This was my first visit and I was pretty impressed. They have many unusual dishes that I have not seen anywhere else and I am dying to try more of them.
Good deli, not great restaurant. I have been in Kim Anh several times before, and had purchased a number of their bakery/deli items, which have all been pretty good (steamed buns, sesame balls, sweet rice, mung bean desserts, etc.). On those items, I will continue to be a customer. However, this time I decided to sit down, and ordered their bun (rice noodle salad) with grilled pork, and Vietnamese egg rolls (cha gio). Both were really disappointing, though it’s a bit difficult to say exactly why. The noodles in the bun were not chilled (they ranged from cold to hot, all in the same bowl), and other than a shredded cucumber and a mint leaf, the veggies normally found in this dish were lacking; the pork itself was tasty, though very fatty. The egg rolls were a bit limp, and lacked flavor. The dipping sauce (nuoc cham) included with both was about the least interesting I’ve had- tasted more like sweet vinegar. I’ve heard that their pho is decent, but honestly I don’t think I’ll bother trying.
