I can’t comment on more than the House Special pasta with bread and salad because that is all I have ever ordered. I figure why try anything else when this combination is so perfect. It does not get much better than this. Maybe someday I’ll try something else, but then again maybe not!
Blown Away!. My wife and I stopped in during the afternoon, we heard great things about the little family-owned restaurant and wanted to try it out.A very polite young man at the counter realized we were new and offered assistance, we took him up on his advice and tried out his favorite dishes. My wife mentioned she couldn’t eat meat, the young man moved to explain what was vegetarian-friendly on their menu and what the favorites were, which was very helpful.I ordered the Lasagna dinner, which included sweet garlic bread toast, and a toss salad. My wife ordered the Penne Alfredo dinner, with sweet fresh bread, and a toss salad as well. The pricing was very reasonable for the meals. We were given a number for our table, selected our seats. Within less than 2 minutes our salads were brought out, the chef who made these did a great job with the presentation. Crisp lettuce, cheese, red cabbage, all fresh. The dressing was to die for, both of us tried their homemade French and also the Italian.About halfway into our salads, our platter of bread was brought to us. The garlic bread smelt outstanding, and the taste was even better. I definitely could have ate more of that stuff. The plain fresh bread was just as good, especially with the sides of butter. Something about the bread is just sweet enough to be addictive, however it’s not overwhelming. Our pasta dishes came out soon after, still steaming with heat. My lasagna was out of this world, much better than anything I’ve made at home. No burnt noodles or cheese and just the right amount of sauce. I also tried my wife’s Penne Alfredo pasta, she swore it was some of the best Alfredo she has ever had.We are extremely happy we choose to try this restaurant, and we will be coming back for more.Thank you Sweet Taste of Italy!
Mixed. Wife had Lasagna combo and loved it. I had the Gondola(signature item). terrible and what Italian place serves a hoagie without any Italian dressing on it. served dry! fries are crap too. previous visit was a week after being in Chicago. was craving a Chicago beef, don’t be fouled like I was. that too was very poor. going to try pizza on next visit. how can they mess that up?
Awesome joint. I have been ordering from sweet taste ever since they opened their location in Brooklyn park. Service is awesome. Food is crazy good. I have been eating here for over 8 years and still go back every week. I have had everything on their menu and there is not one thing that is bad. Best place in BP
Have eaten here dozens of times. Always good and the people always nice.
No Way. Wow, talk about poor customer service! Slow service by employees who were brazenly rude. Refused to provide me with a manager or owner’s name in order to give feedback. The food didn’t help. Lunch meat and pasta I could make at home. This place should look into some customer service training.
Love this place! Me and my boys eat here frequently. Also fast carryout. The staff is friendly and courteous and the food is always great!
