Today was my first time visiting Vietnam House. I ordered a Bahn Mi to go. I u fortunately didn’t realize there was a $10 min to use a visa and had no cash on me. Instead of taking the Bahn Mi back they said keep it and next time I come in to pay for it. The service is great and sandwich was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Vietnamese food and great service. I will definitely be coming back to try out their other menu options and of course pay for my sandwich. 🙂
Not the best anymore. I Haven’t Been Here In 2 Years Since The New Owner Took Over. Today I Was In Area And Decided To Give It A Try. Ohhh I Am So Disappointed, The Pho Was Off And The Broth Didn’t Even TAste Anywhere Close To The Previous Owner’s BroTh. One Thing Is For Sure, If Youa Walk Into A Vietnamese Restaurant And There Are No Customers Run The Other Direction.06 Aug, 2014Not the best anymore. Eat here all the time. I really like this place, best pho i had so far in BP. the one across can’t compare, so dont hate. the only thing i don’t like is their new server, he doesn’t understand english much and i have to repeat myself a couple times to him.
Not bad, but Phuong Trang on the other side of Broadway is better.. I’ve been here three times and they have decent Pho but Phuong Trang across Broadway behind Mad Jack’s is better. I will say the actual noodles in this restaurants’ Pho are better but the broth is not and it’s all about the stock. They need to up their game. The service is a bit better here as well but I’d rather have better food.
Best in town. Clean, friendly and great prices!. I moved into the neighborhood about 7 years ago and decided to stop into this place on a whim instead of driving to Quang in Minneapolis. Our expectations weren’t that good due to the location. To our surprise we have come to crave the clean and flavorful broth of their Pho. We never leave feeling sick, bloated or thirsty when we eat at Vietnam House. The restaurant is clean, wait staff is efficient. The owners are typically working and will remember your orders and are very pleasant. The only Pho that I like to eat is from Vietnam House or from my immigrant mother in law’s kitchen.
Ehhh…so so.. It was a little small, but the service was quick and friendly. The staff was attentive, the food was good, the place was clean! But compared to other Vietnamese places, the prices were rather overwhelming for the portion size. Next time, I’ll probably visit the one across the street instead.
Small hole in the wall restaurant with great pho and bun…They have a Chinese menu as well but the Vietnamese stuff is the best..
