My family and I have been going here for years and keep coming back for the food, especially the amazing hot and sour soup. The servers are always very friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.
We have driven from Andover to get dinner here…. Yes, the building is a bit dated but the food and service are top notch. The portions are big enough to feed a hungry guy at dinner. The staff is always happy and ready to serve. My wife judges all other Tiger Pork dishes against theirs and none have matched them. We have never seen the place busy so our entrees are always fast and hot to the table. If you call for take out you must be patient. (without any sarcasm)The sweetest lady answers the phone, and she will get you what you want, you just have to be ready to listen closely and speak clearly. Give her the extra 30 seconds the call needs and you will have great food to go.

Great sit down Chinese Dinner. Went to Chinese Gourmet in Burnsville on Valentine’s Day. We went early (5 pm) and had the sampler appetizer for 2, Mongolian Beef, Rice, I had a soda and she had a glass of wine. Incredible food, huge portions and a total bill of $24.00! The service here is always excellent, it is a nice setting (cloth tablecloths, seating near the fireplace). The decor is dated, the outside looks offputting, the food is AMAZING!!! The beef skewers in the appetizer that you grill on the little mini cast iron grill in the center of the huge appetizer platter were amazing and fun to grill to a nice sear. The wings in the platter were delicate in flavor and very meaty and juicy. The 2 full sized pork egg rolls in the sampler were amazing and flavorful. The cream cheese wontons in the sampler were delicious. The total cost on the sampler was around $10.00. GET THIS WHEN YOU GO! The mongolian beef was tender, delicious and huge. We split this. They have a happy hour deal till about 6 or 7 pm with $2.00 per glass wine. All in all, an excellent meal, a great price and quite romantic.
BEST CHINESE ANYWHERE!. I have been going here for years. The food here is so good! Don’t let the outside look of the restaurant fool you, it is some of the best Chinese anywhere. Their fried rice is not that weird yellow stuff, it is actually fried rice. You can tell the chicken is chicken and the beef is beef, etc. The lomein is the best around and the specialties are fantastic. The Mu-Shu is to die for and the Egg Foo-Young is unlike anything you find in another Chinese restaurant… fluffy and big, not flat and hard. Usually, Joe the owner, is there cooking, and he is the most amazing Chinese chef around. Try it, you will not be disappointed!
My favorite Chinese restaurant. I have been going here since I was a little kid. I used to love getting the pu pu platter. Now, as an adult, I have ventured out and tried new things. My favorite here is their moo shoo pork. They have the best plum sauce. I have never had anything here I didn’t like. I wouldn’t order the shrimp in lobster sauce because my husband got sick once after eating it, but it might not have been from the food. Best egg rolls!
Don’t be deceived by the outside. Great service for dining in or carry-out. A wide range or stir fry options available so there is one just right for every taste.The prices seems a little high but the food quality and portions were excellent.
