Great Tea House. I’ve been drinking tea all my life and I’m so happy to discover Indigo Tea. This is a tea lover’s paradise! Nice atmosphere, friendly people, many fresh teas to choose from, and all kinds of teapots and tea things. Their chai is absolutely the best in the Twin Cities! Just wish they were open longer hours (opening at 9 am is too late for me going to work!)
Never Going Back. We patronized this shop with a quiet, happy to be there, mentally disabled older man, (who does look odd). The owner has told us to never return. The man has been greatly saddened and doesn’t understand why he can’t go back.
Unpleasant Experience. I visited the Indigo Tea Company a few weeks ago and will never return. They don’t greet you and just stare at you until you buy something. The tea is very overpriced and doesn’t taste fresh. I bought something from the deli and felt awful for the rest of the afternoon. I’m going to give the new tea place in the Burnsville mall a try. I can’t imagine it being worse than this place.
A REAL teahouse!. This is a wonderful shop with great ambiance, friendly atmosphere, international feeling, delicious teas and snacks, plus a good place to find tea related gifts. The tatami sitting area is really cool!
One of my favorite places for a hot drink or a snack… And the tea is OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Love Indigo Tea. We love indigo Tea as a place to have the best tea and wonderful sandwiches and snacks. It is also the only place where we buy loose leaf teas and tea drinking accessories. I know I sound like a commercial but Neil and his wife take care of their customers, know tea like the back of their hand and the place is friendly and comforting. I wonder how many punds of Asssam Blend our family has purchased over the years…
I absolutely love this place! My wife and I probably come here once a week 10 months of the year. Get the bubble teas with the pearls. Also, try the peppermint spa loose leaf green tea; it is the most relaxing I’ve had.
