Love this place.. Traditional cafe style breakfast. Real butter, real eggs, really good.. It’s our go to for breakfast..The price is set perfect.. A big breakfast for two is under $20.. Nothing fancy here.. Just a darn good breakfast..
Maybe should be breakfast only. Went to J’s today for lunch. I’ve been there for breakfast before, which was good. But, maybe they should be a breakfast only place. My BLT was puny, but tasted ok. My friend had a cheese burger. But, after taking one bite, she said it was dry and tasteless and refused to pay for it. I’m not sure what others in the place were having, but unless it was breakfast (which they serve all day) I can’t imagine it was of much quality. Breakfast? ok. Lunch or dinner? Nope.

I have breakfast there at least once a month and have never been disappointed. I am definately more a fan of their breakfast than the dinner fare but it is all good. Their pancakes are the best, and their eggs are always perfect. Once when payiong my bill, my waitress was enjoying a peach pastry/cobbler that a family member sent over for the staff. When she saw my jealous face she got me a piece from the back and it was delicious. I said it should go on the menu but she said it was a treat that family memeber only made for special occasions. How lucky for me she was kind enough to share!Please try Jay’s for yourself. The servers are polite and thoughtful and the you cant beat the breakfast and the price!
J’s Restaurant. After spending roughly $400-$500 per year at J’s over the last several years, I will not be returning. The breakfast is decent but the service is atrocious. Extremely slow service coupled with an attitude from the waitresses, they showed their true ungrateful, unappreciative attitude and complete lack of attention towards their customers. If you are looking for good service, then this is not the place for you.
