Great food. Anyone who doesn’t like the food at Nina’s is an idiot. Nina (owner) is the nicest person and wants you to be happy. Beer is two for one along with good vodka. Can’t go wrong!

It’s for drinking not eating. If you want cheap drinks, mediocre food and dont mind smelling of grease when you leave, this place is for you. As there was only one poor girl to run the bar, wait, and bus the whole place, service was understandably slow. She was really sweet and did her best however. A grouchy owner(?) surfaced from the back occasionally to clear a dish or two and retreat to the back to down a few drinks. Being unaware of the nearly constant 2 for 1 bar deals, we went to try the food. The potato skins were very tasty but they shared the plate with about a tablespoon of grease. My side salad was a generous size and tasty -no complaints. I had the chicken medallions with Russian potatoes. Despite looking a bit overdone the potatoes tasted great although again greasy. My chicken medallion however was a crusted over mess. The chicken was dry and the hope of some sauce to alleviate it was lacking as it was under the the overcooked coating. My dates beef stroganoff looked better but the beef was rubbery and bland and again they were stingy with the sauce. Once we left my hair and clothes stank of grease. After an hour my body rejected all the grease I injested causing some uncomfortables gas. You can take your chances. Mine didn’t turn out so great. Good luck.

Amazing food, amazing value. Nina’s – The best Russian food in the Twin Cities. The borscht, the chubrekki (I am sure I murdered the spelling) and the cabbage rolls are all AMAZING!!!This is good, home-cooking style Russian food that is an amazing value! The owner is also the sweetest woman you will ever meet!

Nina’s Grill. This place is fantastic, the homemade beet soup, stuffed cabbage and Rasberry Vodka are outstanding. A local casual place with a up scale menu!!!

Small with cheesy decor. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was very good. I’ll plan to frequent this place when our cold winter returns and borscht, cabbage rolls and other hot, comforting fare are a part of the survival plan.
