Great food, great service. I live in Savage and we eat here on occassion. It is a nice break from all of the chain options we have around. I have never been disappointed with the food or service we have received here. I wanted to write and explain just how good the customer service was for us at a recent visit. Our party of six arrived during a busy dinner service. There was a bit of wait so we grabbed a drink at the bar and waited for our table. We were seated within 30 minutes, then we waited…and waited…and waited. After about 25 minutes with no service I flagged down a buser and asked for our server. She came right away and I casually joked about how long we had been waiting. She apoligized repeatedly saying she just did not notice we had been seated. I can get that, it was busy. Our party ordered four apps to share and another round of drinks. Then we ordered our main course and another round of drinks. While we were eating the manager came to our table and said she understood that we had to wait a long time before our server came to greet us. She also apolgized and I told her it was not a big deal, but I did appriciate her stopping by. She apoligized one last time and informed us that she would be taking our apps and bar tab off of our bill. I am pretty sure she comped us over $100! While I wasnt expecting such a generous act, it speaks to the great customer service I have come to expect from this very good place to eat.

Disappointing. We went to Porter Creek with friends who raved about the food. REALLY! The drinks were weak and our food was really bad. I have the pork loin with mango sauce……OMG! It was dry and completely tasteless! I don’t think there was even any salt and pepper on my meat. The only thing that was good was the whole tablespoon of mango sauce on my plate. My husband had the seafood stew…..horrible! We will NOT be going back. Don’t waste your hard earned money going to this restaurant.
So good! Just what I was looking for, California cuisine. Light, fresh delicious! The roasted veggie and goat cheese sandwich is awesome!
Love this place. Food is exceptional at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere including the outdoor seating and bar. Nothing beats sitting by the fire on a cool fall night enjoying a glass of red wine and my beautiful wife.
Love love love this place. The atmosphere, the service, the extensive wine list, an the food are all great. Every time I come to the cities to visit my boyfriend we go out to dinner at Porter Creek. All around great restaurant.
The food is very good and our server Katie was great! The only thing that’ was on the down side was that it was a little smokey in the main room. I know it’s a grill but when smoke gets in your eyes…. So we are on the patio which was great.
