The Meat Isn’t Bad…. The pulled pork sandwiches were pretty good, even though we got there just before closing.The sides? That’s another story. They weren’t appealing on the menu, but two were included with the sandwich, so…I chose.I chose the corn casserole and the mac ‘n’ cheese. Well, the corn was essentially canned creamed corn with some sort of bread soaked in it. And the mac ‘n’ cheese? Wow. Just wow. The neon orange goo clearly had no genes in common with actual cheese. One bite was my limit on both of these; I was happy we did takeout and made some nice salads at home to go along.This place can do the meat well. If they could do some great sides to go along, I’d be on board.

No phone take out orders. Really? I’m not sure what kind of business that is a restaurant such as this would have against call ahead take out orders but apparently they do. I have gotten food from there before and it was ok to good. Not the best BBQ I have eaten although the smoked turkey was pretty tasty. Ended up,going to Baldy’s in Lakeville instead….OMG it was so good!
Fall off the bone ribs. Good food but is way too expensive…
This is the most awesome BBQ I’ve ever had! I don’t know how anyone could possibly have been disappointed in it, my boyfriend and I love it!!
Disappointed!. Finally tried the Rack Shack tonight. Not impressed. I’ve lived in Charlotte and Atlanta and know excellent BBQ. Not here. We had a full rack with 2 sides and cornbread. The ribs were tender but lacked the deep smoky flavor I was looking for. The sides(mac&cheese/corn bake) were bland and lacked seasoning. The size of the sides was extremely small at best. The cornbread was dry and expensive. Save your money and go to Famous Daves for so-so BBQ with bigger portions and have $$ for dessert!
Much better then famous Daves, I’m from KC and, although its not up to those levels, its pretty good
