Went to PUB 42 for Easter Brunch, I bought a coupon sheet from Cooper Softball because there was a coupon for 10% off Pub 42 and the only exclusion was for alcohol so I called PUB 42 and asked if this would be honored on easter brunch, I got put on hold so they can check with a manager and they came back on the line and said yep they will take them so my father made a reservation. Upon paying the bill for 13 people and 1 child they server came back and said I am sorry my manager says we can’t accept this. So I asked to speak with the manager, some guy name Bryce came and I explained the call to verify and there is no exclusion for holidays he says that is the schools fault, I said well I called and your employee said they checked with a manager, he says so….. I am one of the owners and I am not honoring it. He was just a jerk so I am filing with BBB and every place else I can. I am not hard to get along with and I am not dumb that is why I specifically called ahead of time because it was a holiday and got yep it will be honored. This Bryce was a jerk right from the start, did not even care his employee gave out wrong info. He could have even offered to split the 10% with me to keep a customer happy but nope. Then I was told by an employee he is not one of the owners he is a general manager. Boy with a manager like that they are lucky to serve alcohol because that will keep them in business because he obviously does not care about the restaurant part. I had a great time seeing my family but I had to get this rant out only because of the way this guy was such a jerk about the whole thing.
