First time here. Service was very good, food was excellent. I had Lake Superior whitefish and my sister had the meatloaf sandwich. Both were tasty and portions were generous. The fish was floured and fried just until lightly browned, and served on top of smashed baby red potatoes. Delicious. We will be back.Second visit, three months later. Both sisters with me. Not good. Server with a snotty attitude. I encouraged one sister to order the whitefish. The whitefish I loved the first time was disappointing on this visit. The fish was a bit overdone and there was no piccata sauce. It seemed deep fried and greasy. No way to treat a whitefish. When I mentioned the lack of sauce to the server, she assured me it was there and had sunk into the fish. Invisible sauce? The only sauce I saw was a grease puddle on the side of the plate. Second sister ordered the turkey pot pie. Just average, and I noticed she left the entire crust on her plate. No way will we be back.
