Went here the other day, love the atmosphere it was very cozy and it was raining outside so it was just right. It was nice paying and ordering at the counter and the service was fast and friendly. I had the hot diggity dog and it was the best grilled cheese sammie ever! Everything there was organic so that was a plus. We tried the steaktastic and the French onion soup. Local. And simply delicious.

Bummed. Was very excited to try the food. Stale chips and had to put ketchup on the steak sandwich. Not impressed.

I LOVE TOASTYS.. The sandwich offerings are wonderful, the soups are warm, and the beer prices are even better. I have zero complaints, Toastys has treated me right every single time I have visited. Bring a date, bring that in-law you loathe, or bring your family, Toastys will make any visit pleasant.

Decent Sandwich, but such small servings for the price!. I ordered the turkey bacon sandwich and a beer when I went. Everything tasted fine, nothing really stood out to me except the price! I understand that it’s all organic and locally sourced, but when I pay an hour wage for a tiny sandwich it sours my mouth. I’ve made better, more creative sandwiches in my own kitchen that actually fill my belly. I was pretty bummed that my side for an almost $9 sandwich (on small toast) was a handful of plain tortilla chips. Fries would have been a better option, especially considering I could go to almost any other restaurant in Duluth and get a lot more food for my buck (even at other organic restaurants who also try to make everything from local sources). I would recommend this place to grab a drink with a friend though, just not lunch or dinner. They had a good selection of local brews for a good price! The atmosphere was nice and very modern, and the staff was extremely friendly.

Give it a go…. Stopped in on the fly. Ordered grilled cheese, took a while but a good grilled cheese usually does. Reasonably priced, cute area. If you have the time give it a go.

Creative menu items that are locally sourced and/or organic? What’s not to love?! Oh – vegan and gluten free friendly as well! A nice neighborhood gem.

Good food, small space. The sandwiches were excellent. The seating area was too small. It took forever to get a seat, but it was worth the wait.
