Indian Zayka is a wonderful establishment. The food is very delicious and the staff is very courteous and friendly.
Was better under old ownership. We ordered four items – all of them were extremely greasy.
Wonderful. The food was amazingly good. The servers were attentive and the serviced was prompt. The prices were reasonable and did I mention the food was delicious? I’m a new regular!
Not bad, but not great either,. I ordered mushroom palak,it ended up having no mushrooms so I guess it was palak paneer (with indian cheese)instead,I mentioned to server that there are no mushrooms in my mushroom palak, and she just gave me blank look, and walked away without saying a word to never show up again. She was not the same server that took my order…maybe she did not speak english? I never saw guy that took my order again.Person that brought us check was a third person.I have to say I have never experienced service so strange before. However food arrived quickly and was good.My palak needed some extra salt and my husband’s lamb korma should be called mutton not lamb, but both dishes were flavorful. We also shared vegetable sampler platter, two chutneys that came with it I loved, and samosas were great, crispy and piping hot.Three other appetizers I did not care for ,they all had very similar taste and texture-soft and bland. Two of my favorite things I had were strawberry lassi and naan bread. This is something I would probably go back for, and I am determined to have mushroom palak with mushrooms next time 🙂
We have been going to this restaurant even before they changed their name to Indian Zayka (it was called Sambol before). We’ve going frequently, almost every weekend. It is so delicious, I can’t begin to describe how great this place is. I go to buffet because of the variety. Service is great as well, they always remember me.
Delish. Husband and I ordered takeout on a Friday night. Food was prompt, good size portions and hot. Dishes were flavorful. Would go again and recommend to others. Had chicken tikka Marsala, alu saag, garlic naan and tandoori.
Authentic. The most authentic Indian restaurant within Minneapolis! I absolutely loved the decor & ambiance along with the waiter & host service. Paintings, elephant statue and most importantly – outside patio for summer. The food reminded me of sitting in New Delhi eating and enjoying with friends. I recommend this restaurant specifically to anyone looking for truly authentic Indian cuisine in Eagan!
