I stopped in for the first time to place a to go order and was told they would not take my order because they have buffet dine in only for lunch. I found the person I spoke to be very unfriendly and even rude. I went to the other Indian restaurant close by and even though they also has a buffet they made my to go order and brought me a drink while I waited! It appears based on other reviews that this place is not monitoring their social media reputation very well. I cannot say if the food is good or not and I will never know because I won’t ever go back.
Worst food worst servers !! Butter chicken had more color than taste…biryani was ok…the veg food was average….serving was worst…people who work there dont care about the customers…i asked them to get me coke and they slammed the coke glass on my table…they dont refill the coke…they dont take the plates…!!! Worst place…there are many indian restaurants in MN far better than this !!!
Overall experience good. I finally made it to Persis lunch Buffet after hearing a lot about it. The food was better than most of the Indian restaurants. But unfortunately most of the food served is unhealthy, deep fried and loaded with cream and fat! It seems to be a trend will all Indian restaurants . . .It was a very busy Saturday afternoon although I am impressed how well they managed the crowd. Yes, I ran into some empty trays at the buffet but they managed to refill them rather quickly.I will give 8 of 10 for the ambiance and cleanliness.
WORST EXPERIENCE. I would rate negative for this restaurant. The food is crap honestly, the customer service sucks as the other reviews state. Honestly I wouldn’t like to go the restaurant but my bad as I live here once in a while have to as I got to eat some Indian food.
Zero service. While I realize it is a buffet, there was absolutely no service component to my experience at Persis. I was not asked if I would like anything additional to drink (I usually enjoy a chai) and I was never checked on. My plate was never taken and I was not thanked upon leaving. Better service and better food is available at Indian Zayka, also in Eagan. Owners and staff are friendly and the environment is cozy.
Waste restaurant do not refill. Guys do not go stupid persis restaurant . This guys cook 50 numbers and serve 100 people. They charge more . Even they don’t know refill the food items. Very disappointed restaurant .
Food ok. Food was ok. But they charge $15.99 for my kid who is really a picky eater. Also Buffet prices has been increasing every week. Iam not going back.
