Bad News. I stopped in this morning because I live in the neighborhood and have wanted to try the place to see what they have. I can’t eat meat at all because of allergies and when the lady that was going to take my order found this out she was about as rude as anyone could be. She kept insisting that I should order something with meat in it instead of trying to find a way to make a sandwich that is vegetarian (wouldn’t that be possible for someone with allergies?). I didn’t mind the atmosphere, but it was about the worst service that I’ve ever had at a restaurant!!! BAD SERVICE!!!

I didn’t want to go but my wife wanted to try it out because my sister told us it was a very popular place.When I first went in, the atmosphere was nice, I like the 50’s themed diner idea. The person greeting me at the door was a young female waitress who asked us to sit anywhere. We got our menu’s and didn’t know what to order. We asked about what’s popular and she mentioned the 7 layer meatloaf. I ordered the 7 layer meatloaf and my wife ordered an arizona? burger. One of the spicy burgers. The meatloaf was a tuesday special but people liked it so much they left it on their menu. It was meh at best. The mashed potatoes had no salt or pepper, just bland, the meat was not seasoned as far as I can tell, the bread was fine, the gravy was the only flavor of the whole dish. I tried the burger and also couldn’t tell if the meat was seasoned, even with the mayo on the bottom it lacked any robust flavor. I ordered the soup of the day which was the best thing I tasted in my whole order. The soup was a french onion soup, very beefy and lots of flavor. A bit more oily than I like but it was pretty good. The server seemed inexperienced and didn’t try to make small talk. Service was prompt and food came out fast enough, (we were the only one’s there.) The decor and seating was nice and clean.Overall this place is not bad, but with what I experienced, I probably won’t go back.I left a nice tip because I’m pretty sure the waitress was the owners daughter. I like to support local.
Nice 50s Theme Diner in Eagan. I ate here with my significant other. We both had burgers, which were very good. The prices are very reasonable, service was good. Breakfast is served all day. The theme is a 50s style diner (similar to Snuffy’s) and the atmosphere is nice. Recommended.
Great food and service. I have been impressed with the service and love their food as well. The food is higher quality than I expected, serving sizes are good, real ingredients and fresh as well and I feel like that makes the difference for me.
Dr J. Terrible service, terrible food. I was told owners two daughters failed to come to work today and thus they were short staffed. People going up to get their own coffee, people waiting to get seated, the list goes on. They will be closed by fall is my prediction.
