Delicious Chai. I stopped by on the recommendation of a friend that the chai tea was outstanding. The barista suggested adding taro and the result was phenomenal! I will definitely be coming back for more delicious beverages.

PEARLS are straight VOM in my mouth. The friendly service almost made me forget that I spent $6 on tea, but overall better than the gruel the ol’ ball and chain serves!

Fun, hip, sweet or natural treats. Wish bubble teas could be more natural instead of sweet syrups. Try the coconut smoothie with bubbles in it. 4 out of 5.

Overpriced but what’s the alternative?. Ya know. I can’t stop going to this place. Even though my pocket book aches every time I order a drink. $4.50 for a bubble tea? Come on. When I went to California, I bought one that tasted just as good for $2.50. Then again, bubble tea in Cali is like Caribou and Starbucks here: plentiful. Watch out Tea Garden. Sooner or later, you’ll need to drop your prices to match some of the up and coming competitors in the Twin Cities. Fortunately, I can’t think of one right now.

My favorite spot. I live about 4 blocks away from the Tea Garden in Uptown and am there at least 2-3 times a week. Such great people and such delicious drinks. I’m a tea-lover and have worked at tea shops but I almost always go for the coolers (sans tea). So good.

An urban experience. Sampling bubble tea from the Tea Garden can thrill many out-of-towners. However, I find this establishment to be on the lower end of my must-visit list. And it has nothing to do with the drinks. The amount of time it takes to order and receive a drink from the Tea Garden seems to be uncomfortably long, chiefly because the place is so popular. The word has gotten out about bubble tea – one of their signature beverages – and I commonly find myself waiting 3-5 minutes in line to order and then another 5-8 minutes to get my drink of choice. The drink itself is always of high quality – very tasty and refreshing – and the price seems to be about right as well.If you give the Tea Garden a try, be sure to try it during off-peak hours. Otherwise, be prepared to wait for your order.

Amazing Selection, Great Service. When my tea loving friends visit I always take them to the Tea Garden in Uptown. I practically lived there in high school. Lots of options so you’ll never get bored. I personally enjoy the lychee green iced tea with tapioca pearls.
