Bad costumer service. I ordered the chicken with broccoli and two egg roles, simple order right? They came to my door and gave me my food. When I sit down to eat it’s not even my order! I called back and she said there’s nothing she can do about it. :/ never again am I eating there!!!
Mediocre at best. Asian express is not great. The food is mediocre at best it has a bland flavor to no flavor at all. The beef is very slimy and the consistancy grossed me out. The other things I did not care for are the eggrolls they taste mostly like cabbage. One plus is the food is very cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.
Bland and old. I hate to say it, because I really wanted a good Asian delivery place, but their food is awful. Their egg drop soup is bland and tasteless; I had to season it with my own things. Their chicken tastes like it came from a steely old bird, and the flavor pervades the entire dish. Their fried rice leaves much to be desired, and several of their dishes that should be savory are sweet instead.
Great neighborhood chinese restaurant that delivers!. Our family likes the Asian Express. Their food is very good, it arrives hot, freshly cooked, and did I say they deliver! My favorite is the sesame chicken. I don’t know what the previous reviewer was complaining about. I had it last night and it was just as good as usual. Both crisp and saucy. Try their appetizers too. We like the pan fried dumplings, cream cheese wantons and the egg rolls. Their egg rolls are a bit different from many restaurants, but I like them better than what I usually am served. We always get extra! The delivery people are nice too, arriving when expected, with hot food. I love having an option for pizza when I want delivered food!
Poor Poor customer service. We have eaten here many times and have not had issues. today we received very sour, soggy sesame chicken and called to ask for them to deliver a new batch. The man on the phone was very rude and asked if I would like to have a refund instead, but would not let me tell him the name on the card to be sure it was properly refunded and said I was now wasting his time. His time? What about my time? I am the customer. He then proceeded to let me know that a driver is on his way to pick up the food from us. VERY poor customer service. I will NEVER order from here again. Unfortunate.
Our go-to delivery chinese!. YUMMO!! We probably eat here once a week. We live in West Bloomington and they will deliver to us (which is a definite plus because we can’t seem to get ANYWHERE to deliver to us!) and the food is always hot and delicious! Best fried rice around and the dumplings are delicious!! Always hot, fresh, and fast – EVERYTIME!! I LOVE Asian Express!!
Great for pickup. The food is good, but they really need to invest in a decent hood for their fryers. Pick up (make sure to call ahead) or delivery is ideal — otherwise you’ll spend the rest of your day smelling like fryer grease. Yes, it’s that stinky.
