I hate Mexican food but wow this place is great!
I’ve been dining here since it opened. They’ve come a long way and the food keeps getting better. The owner is so nice and recognizes me even after a really long stretch of time.
Very fresh and very good. Not much atmosphere, but after your first bite it won’t matter!
Not good Mexican food…. Not impressed at all. I read so many good things on here about this place, but it definitely didn’t live up. I ordered the pork enchilada’s and service was polite and quick. The meal wasn’t so good though. The rice was very bland and had carrots and peas in it. I don’t think I’ve ever had Mexican rice with carrots and peas. The red sauce was VERY sweet and thick. Almost like jarred pizza sauce with hot sauce mixed in. The pork was overdone and dry, plus had no flavor at all. The beans were fine. The guacamole was overly light and watery tasting almost. Probably mixed with sour cream or something. The price also seemed a bit high for what I got. I’d go to Qdoba or Chipotle before coming here again. Also, if you’re looking for more authentic Mexican, there are many better places in Chanhassen (Rey Azteca’s) and Shakopee (multiple to pick from) that are both close by.

A real find. This is the kind of place that will appeal to people who car about food and not glitz. Everything ia fresh and authentic. Try it…you will be back!
