Pretty decent bar food with decent burgers, fries and other sandwhiches. Their beer selection is pretty good. The calamari was a little rubbery, but the sauce was good. Probably not a regular family spot, but a good place to meet with your friends. Plenty of tv’s to go around.
I had dinner here tonight. The food was ok as was the service. It was very loud, as another reviewer mentioned, even though the restaurant wasn’t very crowded. The food is nothing to write home about.
Spend Your Money Somewhere Else. We went to Champps – Eden Prairie last night, hoping to enjoy the live music on the outdoor patio. I ordered the Roasted Artichoke and Grilled Chicken Pasta in which there were NO artichokes and the chicken was anything but grilled (and actually appeared undercooked and oven baked). The pasta had no flavor and their was a 1/4 inch of water (not butter, not oil, not anything tasty) on the bottom of my pasta bowl. Believe it or not, the best part of the dish was the spinach! The serve was sub par and our experience wasn’t unique as 4 of the 5 tables sitting around us either returned their dish because it was not what they ordered or for poor food quality. What a waste of $50! I highly recommend you GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I eat at champs at ridgedale fairly frequently, and this was my first time at the ep location. My first impression of the place was when the waitess spilled a glass of strawberry lemonade in my lap. She responded in kind of an awkwardly embarrassed/shy way, and didn’t give any discount to the meal or free appetizer. Which was disappointing after my pants were soiled in pink lemonade.
I can appreciate a half priced veggie burger on mondays. and my boyfriend can appreciate a half price real burger!
Best Bloody Marys in town. If you like a little extra spice, get the peppar vodka in your Bloody Mary. The mini burgers are pitiful, but most of the other items are very good.
