I tried TequeArepa yesterday on a whim and had an absolutely wonderful experience. It is just off of 494, and while it is quite small, I thought it gave a wonderful cozy, small business type feel. Upon entering, the owner promptly came out to greet me and asked me if I had tried arepas in the past. Since I have not, he explained what they were and asked me which type I would like to try (beef, chicken, pork, vegetarian), so he could recommend something that would fit my tastes. I ended up going with the #106 with pork, beans, plantains, and cheese with an order of shredded beef empanadas and fried green plantains. The pork was perfectly seasoned and moist, and the other ingredients added a multitude of flavors. The rest of my order (which I had to go because the one arepa was filling enough) was also amazing, so much so that I left planning my next trip. Friendly service. Delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Incredible. I tried this place on a lark and was astonished how delicious the food was. I got arepa #106 on the owner’s recommendation, inhaled it and quickly ordered the roast port and chedder. I walked out of there in a satisfied daze. The garlic sauce that is served with the arepa is better than any aioli I’ve ever had. It had such a concentrated, pure garlic flavor. Tremendous.The meat that I tried, shredded beef and cubed pork, was done perfectly. It was moist yet had the right amount of char.
Sweet Plantain, Fried Cassava, Fish Empanadas, Guava Smoothie. Love the sweet Plantain with a little bit of cheese offset the sweetness of the plantain.Fish empanadas were good too. Cassava was plain, would’ve been better if they were seasoned.
Wow, simply WOW!. Great place, great prices, AMAZING food. Wish the place was a bit bigger, because this place is going to become VERY busy soon.

Wow! What a find! First time trying arepas and they are incredible! Big selection of interesting combinations/flavors. Love it!
