Who runs out of sea bass at 6pm on a Saturday night. My daughter ordered sea bass. The waitress told her they were out at 6 pm on a Saturday but they would subs tire halibut. They charged the same price!!Also our group had two orders of the walleye. When it came, it looked like they cut one filet in half and served each of us a half of a filet. It was about 5 bites. We complained to the waitress and she said she would tell the chef, but they did nothing. They filled the plate with extra potatoes to make it look like a lot. Too expensive for potatoes with a little fish.!!!!!!

We went in jeans testing out if they would turn us away. They didn’t! Food was good and affordable. Will probably be back. Manager was really good.

Delightful Lakeside Dining. Acqua Forest Lake is a stunning venue on the north shore of Forest Lake. The dining room is beautifully appointed, with huge windows overlooking the water. There is also outdoor patio dining. We visited with a Living Social voucher for a 4-course chef’s tasting dinner with wine. Shared an order of delicious bruschetta. Spouse enjoyed a tasty Caesar salad while I had beet salad w generous red and gold beets and greens. Entres included Eggplant parmesan and papardelle Bolognese, both scrumptious. Ended dinner with crme brule and Dreamsicle (panna cotta drizzled with orange sauce). Food was uniformly excellent! Our server, Jessi, was very friendly and attentive but never intrusive. One of the best LS deals we ever purchased!

Good Food. Been to FL Acqua a number of times; meals have always been good.Service is usually good but has been spotty on a couple of occasionsThe dining room on the left (as you enter) is much louder than the dining room on the right; they would be wise to put in some sound absorption materials. The drinks are unique, of consistent quality and and most importantly, tasty

So-So. Nice place but the service hovered over us enough to make us uncomfortable and unable to hold a conversation without being interupted multiply times. The calamari starter was nothing special. When it came to ordering our food, I ordered the ossco bussco and my compainion ordered fish. Our server pushed salads on us so we also ordered them. Then we waited. And waited. And then the staff no longer hovered over us when the sound of our stomach scared them away. I ordered a glass of house wine, and was surprised the house was $14 a glass. Our main dishes arived with no sign of the salad we had been hoaxed into. When I asked the waitress she sent the manager over- but he did not come to our table until we were finished. My ossco bussco was large portion of bland flaverless meat. The potatoes they were on exellent. I have a large appitite but could not finish my meal. Saddly it was not good enough for mr to take home eather. My friend’s fish was not even warm in the center but again the side dish that came with it was delicious. The manager did not come over untill our plates had been cleared with the majority of food still on them and he offered us a desert to make up for the missing salad. Of courde we declined any more food at that point.I may try their buffet, but for the price of their menu the food is not worth it.

Upscale lake dining. Wonderful layered flavors fill the menu here. Upscale dining in an area that badly needs it. Whether or not this place makes it through the winter months remains to be seen since it is off the beaten path and it is more upscale. The coursing menu is the best value here and it is offered every night of the week. For $30 you get choice of salad, entre, and dessert. (at least 4 options for each category) Everything we had was wonderful and full of flavor. The only issue we had was timing with the bread- it came too late for the salads and when we asked for more for our pasta entrees, it never came. No big whoop. They do cork and bag bottles of wine that you do not finish which worked great since I had a half off coupon and the hubby doesn’t drink. We will definitely be back for the beautiful view and scrumptious food.
