If your a regular. Been stopping here for over a year and if your not a regular don’t even think about good service it will be just the minimum and it’s even worse if you try to get served at the bar. The food is good but the bar is like being in high school again they just don’t make you feel welcomed here.
Roadside fave. Great dinners without all the dressing up stuff. Located on hwy 61 between Hugo and Forest Lake this roadside stop is for everyone from grandma’s to kids, bikers to preachers. Good solid food with nice portions. I like restaurants that still give soup or salad with your entree. (Salads come in those old fashioned wood bowls – love it – and not in that ironic hipster way) Plenty of menu choices but our favorite is the the steak tips (served with onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. Still waiting to try the broasted chicken since we hear good things about it.
