I don’t know how anyone could find this place acceptable. In the dining room at 7:30 pm my date and I could hardly hear one another over the noise from the bar (that pretends to be in another room). Then, our server comes out shoving food in her mouth before heading to another table. Classy! I ordered the walleye, which was good but flavorless. My date ordered the Alfredo with shrimp. First, I don’t understand why restaurants leave the tails on shrimp when it’s in pasta because it’s pretty gross to watch your date dig all 4 if them out (a dollar each, btw) and cut them apart before eating. Second, the pasta itself was done to mush which made it nearly impossible to discern it from the pasta sauce. Third, the dish was drenched in thick pasta sauce. It was flavorless butter sauce I’ve tasted much better jarred sauces! So, my date ate like 3 bites of pasta before deciding it was inedible. We offered to pay for the shrimp that was an extra charge but they insisted there was no manager on duty that could give us anything less than half off the entire entree. Because, well, she nibbled on the included salad. Which was rich with iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese and croutons. Wowza, the salad was expensive! What a joke. They will never get another dollar of ours.
