Old fashioned Vietnamese Restaurant. In the 80s, I used to eat here at least twice a week. Today, it is the only Vietnamese restaurant that I can find where the food tastes the same as back then. Love the spicy mock duck and the vegetarian imperial rolls.
I cannot say how pleased I was with Lotus. The staff and service was superb. The Spring rolls were perfect. I had a small pho that was just perfect. The waiter was so cool that he had the cook make me something that was not even on the menu. I’m not even sure what it was, but it was amazing. A crispy chicken dish with rice and greens. Amazing! I’m not from the area, but if I am ever back in town my first stop will be at Lotus.
Lotus Rocks. Their food is consistently amazing and the wait staff make everyone feel like VIPs!! I recommend the pho, imperial chicken, tofu vermicelli salad and gum ya (chicken dish with the best sauce). Happy Dining!!!
So so… but still with a try.. Was visiting and had been recommended here after hearing all the rave reviews. Was a little disappointed. The pho was amazing, however everything else we ordered was mediocre. Definately not authentic Vietnamese, such small portion size, we had ordered 7 dishes for 4 people, no left overs and was not completely full.
I have been going here since the 80’s. it turned me on to Vietnamese and SE Asian food. It is the standard by which I measure all Vietnamese food. Rarely do I find better, even when I was in Vietnam. The family that has owned and run the place are great and friendly. Don’t be put off by the local in a small strip mall and the crazy parking.
Great Food since the 80s!. This place was great in the 80s and it still is. The food is consistently high quality (tasty and healthy) for a really good price.
Best Spring Rolls!!. I’ve had a lot of spring rolls in my time and this place has, by far, the best ones. I always get the tofu spring rolls, I think they’re better than the mock duck ones.
