When my sister and I walked into The Lotus, the hostess told us to seat ourselves. There wasn’t many options to choose from. The restaurant is fairly small. We went around to the back end where there was two booths (the rest of the restaurant was table and chair arrangements). My sister and I sat down where there was already menus provided to us at the table. The waiter was friendly and approached us within 2 minutes after we seated ourselves. The waiter came up to us and asked what we wanted to order. Most the things on the menu was for the whole table (they don’t have a huge selection on food for yourself) My sister and I ordered a full plate of chicken fried rice, Sweet and sour chicken, and two fried egg rolls. The food was amazing. I definitely would recommend eating here. After we ate our food we actually had to go upfront and pay. We couldn’t pay from where we were seated. This made it awkward by having to go up to the front while the cashier was staring at us while we decided how much to tip. The only uncomfortable part of the situation was what I just stated. Besides that, this restaurant is pretty amazing.
