LOVE IT. This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant in the twin cities! The service is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, its been around forever, and the food is EXCELLENT! Every time i’ve been there the food has been excellent. If you’re not sure what to order the staff always have great suggestions!
Foodie and Chinese reviewer. From the perspective of a foodie and a person of Chinese descent, I’m really lovin’ this place. It is Americanized Chinese food, but that’s what I like better anyways. Ping’s is definitely near the top of the list for best restaurants on Eat Street and Minneapolis for food, service and price.
Amazing food, a single portion is big enough for two people, and reasonably priced.
Overpriced.
While all my dine in experiences and take out orders have been pretty good, each time I call in for pickup, the person taking my order has been quite inept. The guy that just took my order was very rude & obviously did not know the meaning of customer service. It was infuriating enough for me to take the 5 mins needed to write this review on my phone.
Ordered takeout and it was not good. Sesame chicken was ok but hot spicy was not. Very Average Chinese food.
*drool*. I LOVE their szechuan potatoes, fried rice, cheese puffs and chicken wings at the buffet. I go with my friends for dinner and always order the calamari and beef chow fun for myself. My friends told me their Hong kong shrimp with walnuts, Ping’s fried rice and curry beef puffs are REALLY good. More than enough food for a reasonable price.
