Started with the saganaki (flaming cheese) and thoroughly enjoyed the lightly toasted, lemony soft cheese on pita. Then on to our primary reason for coming: gyros. Your average gyro off the street tends to be more like dry and flakey meat shavings, but not here. The traditional beef-lamb variety comes with thick, almost juicy meat chunks rich with peppery flavor, creamy and dilly tzatziki sauce, and pillowy pita bread that keeps you full long after the meal.Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.Pro tip: they have a lovely outdoor covered patio that is usable even during less than ideal weather.
Great food/terrific patio. To my mind, some of the best Greek food in the Twin Cities, and one of the most pleasant patios around. Full bar service. Very reasonable prices. An ever changing of menu of wonderful Daily Specials. Their wonderful homemade Greek salad dressing is available to take home! Be aware – they are closed on Mondays.
It’s not Greek to me.. I love this place. I’ve been eating here since I was a kid and still do whenever I can. I love everything I’ve ever had. I wish I could eat there every night but I’m too far away for that so I am content to have it on my birthday.
