Yuck. I have been waiting to try the Eden Prairie location since they remodeled from the old KFC location so I thought I would give it a try. What a dump! The parking lot was a complete mess with garbage from people throwing their trash on the ground. The only outdoor trash can looks like it hadn’t been emptied all winter. The parking lot looked like it had never been plowed and was so iced over and rutted that I almost got stuck. Since it was just recently remodeled, I was surprised to see the door handles already falling off the entry doors and the lobby a complete mess. I quickly turned around and left not even trying anything on the menu. There were only two cars in the parking lot and no one in the drive thru. I will keep going out of my way to KFC and Boston Market to get my chicken fix.

Doesn’t Live Up to Hype. I’ve tried it twice on the urgings of many others. I don’t get it. If there’s real chicken under all that bread, grease, and spice, I can’t taste it. Even Cub deli far better.
Lots more Louisiana Kitchens coming to the twin cities. Can’t wait!
AVOID THE DRIVE THRU!!!!. The food is good but avoid the drive thru. Half the time they will get the order wrong by leaving off items from your order even though it’s on the receipt! It’s a pain when you have to drive across town because it’s the only location in the entire state. Even though the neighborhood does not look to be the safest, do yourself a favor and actually go into the restaurant to order. The service is fast, if not faster than the drive thru, and accurate.
Greasy Goodness!. My oh my, I loves me sum fried chicken, yes suh!When I want some greasy, fatty, fried chicken I will regret immediately after I finish eating it, I make my way to Popeye’s. Actually I only go if I am in the area, and even then rarely, but it always taste good and seems like a good decision at the time.So if you like no nonsense fried chicken that’s as greasy as a politician, then go to Popeye’s, but don’t forget to bring a beach towel to wipe your face off afterword.
