Best Chinese Takeout in Town Period.. By far the most authentic tasting and best Chinese food in Mankato. You can’t beat the $5.00 lunch specials, though I would honestly pay twice that for how good the food is consistently . The crab rangoons are great and the spicy dishes like the Hunan & Kung-Pao actually have a bit of kick to them. Definitely deserving of one the100 Best Chinese Restaurants in the US award they got and worth adding to your speed dial.
Wonderful, Appetizing, Colorful, and Healthy!. Ever since the first time I came to China Star in Mankato, I thought it was amazing. I’m always afraid to try new things, but my grandpa always encourages me to every single time. Each new meal I try always ends up being perfect. I never usually take the time to write a review on any place, but this deserves a few minutes of my time. We eat here about once a week now and ALWAYS have good, fast, clean service. It’s so nice when the owners remember your face when you walk in there; they usually know the certain things you like. Great job!!!! See you soon! 🙂
YUM. Consistent, delicious food. You get a lot of food for your money and it’s quick. It’s a staple for me.
