Terrible, simply terrible. It’s the only word I can use to describe it. It was terrible. The hushpuppies were burnt twice. The onion rings were soggy and seemed to be floating in oil. The popcorn shrimp that came with the meal were nasty (A local favourite as it said on the menu): Honestly I wish I went to Walmart or CUB and purchased some frozen popcorn shrimp instead of consuming whatever that was. I went in with an open mind, keen to find a good seafood place to eat at, instead I was utterly disappointed with the sub-par meal, the tardiness of the employees and the overall decor of the restaurant (they used a large pop canister to store the toilet scrubber). Honestly by the end of it I just wanted to leave. Had it not been for the first day of Lent, I would be in quite a fit. My friend also tried the 2 fish meal and thought that it was horrendous. He said that the fish was flaky and fell apart and were a bane to consume.Thy even screwed up our order and initially gave our meal to another table while we were clearly indicating that the meal was ours. I usually never comment or rant and never waste any food at a restaurant but for the first time ever I was so utterly disgusted and disappointed. Never again. Don’t ever eat there. And yeah if the management sees this then I’ll be feel content. The least they could do is upgrade the food quality the least amongst many other things for a disgruntled customer.In terms of the decor the place looked like a small shack not quite the feeling that I was looking for. But I’m really really disappointed in the food. In fact, I am glad that I went to this place because I can try to steer friends and relatives from ever setting foot in there.

No one else was in front of me or behind me in line, so it’s not like they were going through a rush of customers at that time. The staff seemed kind of sloppy, like they didn’t care and didn’t want to be there either, and they didn’t apologize for the long wait. The food ended up tasting pretty good, but don’t use their drive-thru!

If you want a nice, greasy, slab of fish or chicken, that has a flavor you crave once in a while…this is the place.Love it once a month or so, really pretty good…and damn fun too…just because you can ring the bell when you leave!Best dish: Fish, who woulda guessed?runner up: chicken planks
