Compared to HuHot Mangolian restaurant in Rochester, this grill is similar in many ways. HuHot has a wider range of choices, and has this grill beat for pricing hands down. Paying $ 9.25 for medium bowl is excessive.I was not impressed by their speed on the grill either. Wait staff was friendly but did served me over cooked klumpy rice and did not ask to replace it.30 Mar, 2014Compared to HuHot in Rochester, this grill is similar in many ways. Put them into the bowl as much as you can! Don’t follow the ratio, just put the sauces as much as you want.
This place can have great-tasting food ONLY if you do it right. And what i mean by that is don’t go easy on the sauces. Use plenty or else the food will lack flavor in the end. Overall, im undecided on whether or not I like or dislike the place, because of the inconsistency i’ve experienced with the food. Most of the time i’ve been satisfied, but there have been a couple times where i’ve been repulsed by it.
Not up to standards to say the least.. This place is great in concept, and would be wonderful if they would just follow some basic food prep rules.Their vegtables are unwashed…completely….including their mushrooms which still have dirt (yeah right) and mushroom bedding on them. The celery stems still have dirt on them. That’s what you can see…..I don’t even want to imagine how the meat and seafood is handled in the back room.
Restaurant with a learning curve, I didn’t really get the greatest meal this time because I got the ratios of noodles to whatever else wrong.
Three meals. Love this place. Lots of veggies, tofu, and awesome noodles! you are encouraged to fill your bowl as high as possible. I get a medium bowl, eat there, eat left overs at home, and then again for lunch the next day. oh and its CHEAP
Inexpensive and Yummy. My husband and I love to go to Mongolian Grill for dinner. The medium sized bowl is really two meals for one person, we always take home a container and have lunch the next day. Veggies, delicious meats and noodles – all really good and great the next day. A super bargain!
