The atmosphere is nice, although my husband thought it was too dark… service was slow, we waited at the door and we had to wait quite a while for our food even though they weren’t that busy. We got the Mondays 2 for 16 burgers, they were delicious and the fries were good as well!

We loved this place!. We found ourselves in Mankato on Valentines Day and wanted a nice evening out. We were skeptical by the reviews, but now understand. Yes this place could thrive in most metro areas. The line to enter was long, but fast. No reservation is a mistake for this place. You will wait. We requested a booth and had to wait twenty minutes beyond our reservation time, but we were glad we did. It was private, romantic and very comfortable. The server was friendly and fast. She made suggestions and was perfect at her job. Our tip gladly exceeded 20%. The food was excellent. The house made Guacamole at the table, the gnocchi and steak were excellent. The house made drinks were unique and delicious. The best part was the price of the experience. We were surprised. We had hoped to return Sunday morning for the bloody mary and free breakfast. It looks like the best $10 breakfast in America. Next time we will plan accordingly. Parking was plentiful on the street. Safe area. Easy to find. I hope you enjoy Number 4 as much as we did.

Dinner. Great service from Cally, The $5.00 fresh guacamole and chips was great. Had the Duck.. perfect on the duck but the hash needed to be a bit crispy. My associate had the full rack of ribs, juicy and perfectly cooked. Wish I had room for dessert.. Great place,,

Food is awesome!!! Service is poor at best. We have eaten here many times and always expect slow service but tolerate it because of the food. Sunday’s prime rib hash is nasty reheated prime rib, don’t bother to order it!! We would frequent this place more if the service was faster!!! Raspberry mojito is great!!!

Good food, but drink plenty of water. Been here on a number of occasions for business lunches and with my family. On the whole the food is good and a much needed hip take on most Mankato Cuisine. The decor is also amazing and feels intimate and trendy at the same time. Whoever they hired to decorate should win an award. That being said here are a couple of highlights from my past couple times dining:The Good:Interesting options and fresh takes on America Classics. The Burger choices (and Monday night specials) are worth a try.The Lobster Bisque Soup is very tasty and not overpriced.Dessert is worth the trip all by itself. The pastry chef constantly changes things up and I can honestly say I’ve had a bad dessert here. The Lemonchello cake is excellent if you want a well balanced dessert. The fresh made guacamole that they mix at your table is really awesome…despite the really salty chips they serve it with.Mixed drinks here are very good and not watered down. The Mimosas at brunch are among the best in town and the Bloody Mary has enough stuff in it to qualify as a salad (in addition to being very good). The Bad:Lunch service is so-so…depends on who you get. I’ve had to really rush a few times to finish a lunch in time to get back to work and usually have to ask the server to bring the check.Kids options are decent, but last time we ordered the mac and cheese we got what looked (and tasted) like boxed Kraft Macaroni & Cheese with overcooked noodles…not exactly worth the $5 they charge for it.The Ugly:They over-salt everything and I hope not intentionally to encourage people to buy their somewhat overpriced drinks…For example, the fries with the mango plum ketchup are great, but ordering them WITHOUT salt is a must…unless you feel like drinking a gallon of water later on to quench the salt induced thirst.

Lunch Specials. They have a $5 lunch special that has a soup and sandwich. The food is excellent, but the portions are skimpy for the lunch special.
