Welcome Home?. When I got back from overseas, my wife and children told me to meet them at Olive Garden, but it was a trap.
6 dollars for 2 sodas?!?!?!?!. My daughter and I have loved Olive Garden in the past but haven’t eaten there in some time. Decided to go there for lunch today and when we got our bill I was shocked to find that our sodas were nearly 3.00 each!! Something that costs them about 25 cents a glass. Considering that there are few things on the menu under 15 dollars, I think this is pretty excessive for soda’s, even with free refills. We will likely return, but we will be drinking water.
Used to eat here more often. We used to eat here more often, then we got kind of burned out on it. The food is good, but a bit expensive for what you get. I do have to give major props to one of the day time hostesses (Wish I knew her name!!!) she is older (middle aged I suppose) short, with short dark brown hair and glasses. She is just the sweetest woman and she always recognizes and remembers my daughter and I every time we come in – no matter how long it has been. The wait staff can be kind of hit and miss, why don’t they get that all people want is their beverages kept filled and their service flowing? I don’t want lively fake conversation or near -constant interruptions into my conversations. I recently had lunch with an old school friend and we could hardly get a word in edgewise for the waitress constantly interrupting us. If the glass is empty – fill it. If the plate is empty – take it. If we want something – we will ask. I’ve never seen such suck-up wait staff as I have seen at Olive Garden and I do not tip obvious suck -up’s.
THE best location of this chain I have been to. Best eggplant parmesean ever.
Pretty good Italian American food, but Neighbors is better in this town.
