Service tait excellent. Sans aucun doute revenir !!!
I am not sure where to begin with this review. My husband, sister and I made 6:15 pm reservations earlier this week before we attended a concert that was across the street at Verizon Center. The restaurant was clearly ill prepared from a staffing perspective for the number of people that were there. You would think that a major concert (James Taylor) that was sold out would have been reason enough to step up their staff and service, but I guess not. The actual small dining area was completely full when we arrived so we were seated in a makeshift dining area in the LOBBY of the hotel. I would be surprised if everyone that was seated in the dining area had reservations, like we did. It took over 20 minutes to get our drinks served and over an hour to have our dinner served. I went to the hostess desk to complain to the manager but he was nowhere to be found. We barely had enough time to eat our dinner by the time it arrived or we would have been late for the concert. The waitress offered a free dessert to help pacify the horrible service, which we declined, stating that we didn’t have enough time to eat it. One would think that the equivalent dollar amount would have come off of our bill based on our response, but it didn’t. I would never recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Don’t make the mistake that we did…DO NOT plan on having dinner here prior to attending any event at the Verizon Center. Oh….and the food was mediocre at best.
Service was great, our waitress was vigilant and kept our glasses full and offered more bread when needed, the olives they brought while we were waiting for our food were good as well. I had a chicken dish with vegetables and angel hair, it was delicious. My husband had the lamb kebabs, they weren’t quite what he expected but he thought they were okay. We would consider coming back again.
