Fast & Friendly service; ordinary food. Upside: Fabulous waitress, food arrived very quickly (maybe because we were one of 3 groups in the place, early afternoon Saturday)Downside: Food. Neither entree was anything great- mushroom & swiss burger and chicken sandwich. Wondering after reading all these reviews if perhaps we just ordered the wrong thing?? Also thought they could use more lighting in the place… was kind of dark & felt dingy.Catering: We recently attended an event catered by Pappageorge- loved the asparagus dip. Bruschetta was nice and garlicy but the tomatoes were not good quality. Hummus was just ok, but then I make mine at home so I’m very selective. They did a nice veggie tray, with kalamata olives and other nicer-than-average veggies.
Our family stopped by on a Friday evening and was told we needed reservations. Vary disappointed, it didn’t look like a place that should be taking reservations.
The London Broil is a must…don’t leave without ordering it. Or go back and get it.
Highest rated steakhouse in Mankato. Easy to find, parking was easy. Nice, but informal..Service was good. Noise was comfortable. Waiter was well informed, and friendly. The food came out of the kitchen promptly..Our fried cauliflower was surprisingly good. My small sirloin was aged, tender, and cooked just right. My wife’s grilled chicken was tender and flavorful.
Fantastic. Family owned and operated. Has a great menu filled with great food. There are lunch and dinner specials Mon-Sat. Fresh baked bread daily. Great steaks, seafood and pasta. Ahi Tuna plate on the appetizer menu is fantastic and you get lots of tuna! One of my top choices for lunch and dinner in Mankato!!!
