I love this place so much especially the lunch buffet. It is cheap but the quailty is probably the best in Mankato area. Their orange chicken is awesome!!!

Lunch Buffet. The lunch buffet is great. Definitely worth the $7.50.
Good Takeout. This family run restaurant has been in the Mankato and St. Peter area now for decades. They are successful because they serve good quality food. While the prices might be a bit higher than some of their competitors, you get good product for the price. Of the dishes they make, I’d recommend the Mongolian Beef and the Jo Jo Beef. Mongolian is loaded with onions while the Jo Jo is nice and spicy. As for it being good for takeout, the place is rather boring. The dining area needs a face lift. It’s starting to look rather threadbare and dated.
Lunch Buffet. As we all know, a Chinese lunch buffet should never be relied upon as a culinary treat – in any circumstance. However, the buffet at Yu’s in Mankato is not all that bad. The food comes out from the kitchen in small batches, ensuring it is refreshed constantly. A nice variety of meat options, it seemed a vegetarian would find this place a bit more difficult. The price is right ($7.45) for food, drink and tax.
